Open-to-all?
- Saturday Activity Days are open to all adults – members and non-members alike.
- Members will need to pay the booking fee.
What can we expect?
- A selection of wacky individual and team games to break the ice.
- A team challenge to complete to solve a given problem using only the supplied materials.
- A hands-on bushcraft skills or traditional crafts activity.
- Foraging and then cooking lunch over the campfire, or using camp stoves.
- A relaxing lunch around the fire, possibly with music.
- A small forestry task to help look after our beautiful site.
- Ending the day with some more games among new friends.
Times & costs:
- Starting at 10:00 and ending at 16:00.
- £40 for the day including all refreshments, tools, materials and lunch ingredients.
What to bring with you?
- Please ensure you bring clothing suitable for the weather, which during anything but the warmest of days needs to include:
- several warm layers,
- wind proof & rainproof coat,
- hat, scarf & gloves,
- shoes / boots suitable for walking on grass and under trees – heels, crocs and open-toed shoes are not recommended,
- personal / emergency medications if applicable.
- Please provide details of any relevant medical conditions & emergency medications on the booking form.
- As refreshments and lunches will be provided, please ensure to specify any allergies and dietary requirements on the booking form.
